Win the work. Manage the job. Keep the proof.

Plum Works helps sole traders and 1–5 person trade businesses manage enquiries, quotes, estimates, customer acceptance, jobs, photos, documents and useful records in one simple system.Send professional quotes and estimates, keep work moving with two automatic follow-ups, and find customer and job information when you need it.Early access is currently limited while Plum Works Starter is in launch testing.

How Plum Works fits into your day

1. Capture a new enquiry

Customers can submit an enquiry form, or you can add the enquiry manually when they call, message or email.

2. Prepare and send quotes or estimates

Create a professional document, send it from the job record and keep everything organised.

3. Follow up and record the outcome

Plum Works sends two automatic follow-ups, while you track what is awaiting reply, won or lost.

4. Win the job and schedule the work

Move accepted work into a job, schedule visits and plan the work without losing the customer, site or quote details.

5. Complete the job and finish the admin

Record completion notes and customer sign-off. Plum Works then shows you if the job still needs invoicing — you raise the invoice in your usual system and simply record in Plum when it’s done

6. Keep the proof and find it later

Keep completed jobs, documents, photos and notes together, with a clear history you can come back to later — including renewal dates where relevant.

Frequently asked questions

What is Plum Works?

Plum Works is a simple job management system for small trade businesses. It helps you keep enquiries, quotes, scheduled work, customer details, photos, documents and completed jobs together in one place.

Do I need to change the way I work?

No. Plum Works is designed to fit around the way you already run your business. You can continue using your existing phone, email, calendar, accounting and invoicing systems where appropriate.

Does Plum Works work on my phone?

Yes. Plum Works is designed to be used on mobile as well as desktop, so you can check customer and job information while you’re out working.

Can I create and send quotes and estimates?

Yes. You can create professional quotes and estimates from the job record and send them to your customer. Customer acceptance is then recorded against the job.

Does Plum Works follow up outstanding quotes?

Yes. Starter includes two automatic follow-ups for quotes and estimates that are still waiting for a customer decision.

Does Plum Works do my invoicing?

No. You continue to create invoices using your existing accounting or invoicing system. Plum Works prompts you when completed work still needs invoicing and lets you record when the invoice has been raised, so it doesn’t get forgotten.

Can I keep photos and documents with a job?

Yes. Notes, photos and documents can be kept with the relevant customer and job, making it easier to find the information later..

What happens when a job is finished?

You can record completion details and customer sign-off, keep the completed job as part of the customer history, and see whether invoicing still needs to be dealt with.

Can Plum Works help with renewals?

Yes. Where a document or job has a renewal date, Plum Works can keep that information visible so you don’t have to search through old job records to find it.

Where is my business data kept?

Your operational data is held in your own business systems rather than being locked inside a Plum Works account. We set Plum Works up around those systems and only use the information needed to provide and support the service.

How long does it take to get started?

We’ll help you get Plum Works set up and show you how the workflow works. During the early-user launch we’re keeping numbers small so we can provide more direct help and gather real-world feedback.

Can I see Plum Works before deciding?

Yes. Register your interest and we’ll arrange a short demonstration using a realistic job workflow, so you can see how it works before deciding whether it suits your business.
